President's Message
Hi Fellow Flyfishers.

Sorry it’s been so long since we have had a chance to update the website. I am happy to let you know that we know have a new webmaster who will be working on our site to make it new and exciting. We will soon be posting a page with photos and updating our calendar. The board members will have access to the site so we can keep you informed. I would like to thank all of you who were able to make the last two fishouts. In October, we met with the High Sierra Flycasters on their home water, the East Walker River. Everyone caught fish, even Lucky.

In November, we fished Davis Lake and everyone caught fish except for me and Bud. We had a great lunch and watched Billy make record time across Davis Lake in his float tube after the lightning hit the north end of the lake. He said it was only two seconds away, too close for comfort.

There aren’t any fishouts scheduled for the rest of this calendar year, but we will have the next fishout date posted on the calendar soon.

The board is making plans to resume the newsletter, with the assistance of our Secretary, Billy Lampson. We plan to do some mailings of the first few newsletters, but will have them available at the area fly shops also. I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather and hitting some of our local fishing spots before winter sets in.

Happy fishing

Tillie Arizmendi
President
